Josh Costell - MeasureMax Guy
    In 1978, Costell started using his radical "selling is a science" theory. Within 3 years, he went from a rookie salesperson to a sales superstar to a national sales manager of a Fortune 500 company. Along the way, Costell won every top sales and profitability award given.

    This ascent was a direct result of his early MeasureMax concepts. In 1984, the success of his selling program at York International Corporation attracted media attention. A three-page feature article, titled "The 'Costell Sell'," appeared in Sales and Marketing Management.

    In 1989, he changed careers to become president of a fledging, electronic controls company. Using his marketing and selling theories about how to make customer value measurable, Costell grew the company into a multimillion-dollar business with its products sold in more than 20 countries worldwide.

    Over a 17-year period, he participated in more than 1,000 joint sales calls. He got first-hand opportunities to apply, test, analyze, and fine-tune his sales and marketing theories on a local, national, and worldwide scale. He has since returned to his fiercest passion -- articulating and teaching the sales process so both buyer and seller benefit from having common, not competing, goals.

    In 1998, he founded AKS to allow him to fulfill his career-long passion. His mission is to continue to convert selling from subjective art form to objective science to increase sales productivity and satisfied customers. Costell finished the book he started writing in 1981. He turned it into a sales seminar manual so he could receive his book reviews before publishing it, not after. The results: Out-value the Competition -- the powerful sales seminar for one workbook, an audio program, interactive CD, and sales opportunity management software.


Stefanie Hicks - Achiever Guru
    Stefanie is the project manager for the Achiever software program. She makes sure that Achiever reflects the essence of the MeasureMax selling system. Her background includes Microsoft Developer Tools, Visual Basic, Access 2000, multimedia Director, and SQL server applications. A great listener that always makes sure AKS fulfills their customers' software requirements.


Robert Trommler - People Specialist
    Although Robert received his mechanical engineering degree from Purdue, his greatest strengths are his people skills. He knows what motivates people to make positive changes -- and how to tear down the barriers that prevent them from doing so. Robert's main role is to make sure that AKS's qualitative methods are as strong as their quantitative ones.
